The Federal Government shutdown means Closures on Oahu

Our Federal Government’s shutdown has, regrettably, caused some of the attractions, that many visitors hope to see, to be temporarily closed. We want to give visitors a heads up as to what is closed and what is not here on Oahu. To the best of our knowledge, at the present time, these National Monuments, all located at Pearl Harbor, are closed:

  • USS Arizona Memorial
  • USS Utah Memorial
  • USS Oklahoma Memorial
  • USS Bowfin Submarine Museum

The Battleship Missouri and Pacific Aviation Museum have said they will remain open, as will the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific (also known as Punchbowl). State and county parks will be open, including Diamond Head State Monument. We hope this information will be helpful. We know you will find many other wonderful sights and things to do on Oahu! The Seek Spot by Be Our Guest Directory can provide you with easy access to information on Sports and Activites, Shopping, Dining, and more! We also have a Calender of Events, Maps, and Coupons. We extend our Aloha to all and hope that this “shutdown” will quickly be over!
