Naturally, when October comes around we think harvest and Halloween! Oahu is really no different in this respect. We may not necessarily have a fall “season” like the mainland does, but we celebrate this time of year with pumpkin carvings, hayrides, and a bit of hair-raising fun, just like lots of others do! In keeping with the “spirit” of things (forgive the pun), here is a listing of a few Halloween happenings….
- Nightmare at the Dole Plantation… also running from the 1st to the 31st, the Dole Plantation will feature a Haunted House (not for the faint!), a Trail of Terror through a dark maze where who knows what lurks, and a fright-filled train ride on the Nightmare Express! Certain events are not for young children so check before you make your plans.
- Gunstock Zombie Hayride… on this 25 minute ride at Gunstock Ranch, you travel through dark and zombie infested woods and fields! This event takes place on October 18, 19, 25, 26, and 28th
You can check the Seek Spot by Be Our Guest Directory Calendar for more information on these and other Halloween events around the island. Whether you are carving pumpkins, dressing up for some trick-or-treating, or embarking on a ghoulish adventure, we hope you have a safe, fun, and very spooktacular time, at Oahu’s Halloween Hauntings!
