Malama Pupukea Waimea was proud to be invited to participate as a community partner at Jack Johnson’s concerts this year. They were set up in the Village Green with a handful of other great non-profits, all aimed at conservation and protection of the environment. They had a blast as they shared information about the Marine Life Conservation District with many of the over 7000 people who attended each night.
They would like to say Mahalo to everyone who stopped by and made donations, signed up for their newsletter and committed to becoming a volunteer!
Jack’s “All At Once” campaign inspires everyone to get involved with the idea that “An individual action, multiplied by millions, creates global change” and all of you are helping to make that happen.
As part of the campaign, Jack and the Johnson Ohana Chairtable Foundation are matching, dollar for dollar, any donations made to our organization through September 1st, up to $2500. If you can make a donation that will help them to continue their work of caring for, educating about and protecting the Marine Life Conservation District please do so here http://www.pupukeawaimea.org/donate.php
